My name is Luisa Mortola, nice to meet you.
I’m 40-something years old, originally from Italy. I’m passionate about communication, especially visual communication, user-centred design, Agile methodologies and collaborative working. I’m specialised in a discipline called User Experience (UX) and I currently work as a Mobile UX Designer in a well-known British betting and gaming company, in London. I occasionally work on external projects (as long as they’re not competitors of the company I work for). My job is to create, and help creating, the most valuable user experience on digital products, in order to brigde user and business needs. For consultancies on existing or in-progress digital projects, feel free to contact me.
- Broad experience with systems and people
I’ve been lucky enough to work on many different projects, for different companies and industries, experiencing big variety of working environments, often quite international in both Italy and the UK. I’ve been exposed to a good variety of technologies and management styles, processes and corporate strategies.
- Hard working style but possibly smart
I believe in dedication, out-of-the-box thinking combined with the adequate techniques to constantly improve self-effectiveness. My weakness, indeed, is that I don’t know what boredom is 🙂
- “Best of both” approach
I like to combine what I’ve got from my Italian cultural background (quality and attention for details, broad vision, get done and problem solving attitude) with what London is giving me (advanced technology exposure, incredible richness of inputs, speed of pace and appealing opportunities).
